 Susan
Carrier, Vice President / Branch Manager
Susan began her career in real estate as a residential real estate paralegal at a law firm in Tallahassee,
Florida in 1981. In 1983, she and her family moved to Volusia County, Florida, where she became Vice President
and Branch Manager for Volusia Title Services (a First American Agent) located in Deltona. Another family
move in 1991 landed her at First American in Akron, Ohio, where she went on to earn the title of Vice President
and became the Branch Manager for the Akron office. Susan received her Paralegal Degree from the Florida
Legal Services in 1975 and worked with local attorneys in Fort Lauderdale in family law. In 1989, she received
her Certified Land Title Certificate from the Florida Land Title Association and once in Ohio, she became
a Licensed Title Agent. She has three grown children and resides in the New Franklin/Manchester area with
her husband of 32 years. |

Andrea Watson, Marketing Representative (330-805-2869)
Andrea started her career in the medical field. She received her license in x-ray technology from the Youngstown
Hospital Association and the Youngstown State University. She then received her nuclear technology license
from Madison General Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. She later returned to Ohio and purchased her first
home. It was then that she fell in love with the business of real estate, and has now served the real
estate industry since 1978. She spent the first three years as a Realtor and then started in the title
industry in 1981. Because she has been both a Realtor and a licensed title representative, she is sensitive
to the needs of both the Realtor and the client. Throughout her career, she has supported the Akron
Area Board of Realtors, the Home Builder’s Association, and the Women’s Council of Realtors,
as a chairperson and in committee member positions. Additionally, she is a board member for Akron-Medina
Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Andrea currently resides in Silver Lake. She has two grown children and one
terrific cat. |

Deborah L. Doerr, Title Officer
Deborah started her career with First American in February of 1991 as a receptionist and tax and legal
clerk. Six months later, she moved into the Escrow Department and was an escrow assistant for close
to seven years. During that span of time, she learned how to address title issues and became so interested
in the field that she went on to get her Title Insurance License in 1998. Providing good service to
our customers has always been Deborah’s primary goal. She and her husband reside in Clinton, Ohio,
in a lovely country home. |
