Sally
Steining is the lead instructor at First American for continuing education. She provides quality continuing
education courses for Realtors and Lenders. With over two decades of experience in the title industry,
Sally possesses a keen understanding of Realtors' and lenders' needs and continually updates her course
materials and classes to provide a current and interesting curriculum.
Available for private instruction throughout Ohio, Sally visits companies to help them polish their
professional relationship-building and sales skills and helps real estate professionals better understand
the real estate transaction from their customers' perspective. "In my classes, I like to use real-life
stories," Sally says. "It can help bring an abstract concept alive and makes the idea more
memorable. I've had many participants in my classes who have been in the business for years tell me
that they always learn something from every one of my classes."
Sally, a former teacher and guidance counselor, began her career as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
in Atlanta, Georgia. Later she became a Real Estate, Probate and Corporate Paralegal in Virginia.
In 1991, her career shifted to residential real estate as an escrow officer and manager for a national
title insurance company. In 2002, Sally relocated to Ohio and served as the area manager for Cuyahoga,
Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Stark and Summit counties. She received her BS Degree from Miami University and
her Masters in Guidance and Counseling from Xavier University in Cincinnati. Sally is also a licensed
Title Insurance Agent.
